Jem Hawkes is live showing us how to wire-wrap your own beautiful bookmarks using the Mermaid Grotto bead mix from the JJB Boutique Collection. This mix is filled with oceanic-inspired beads perfect for adorning your favorite beachside book. This mix includes beautiful seashell charms, sparkling rhinestones, and more. • We will be combining this bead mix with 18 gauge round wire (about 18 inches) to create our wire-wrapped paperclip-like base for our bookmark. Reminder to warm your wire before working to make the bending and wire work a bit easier. You will also need some bent nose pliers, round nose pliers, and of course your cutting tool. • We also highly recommend work hardening your piece to ensure it keeps its shape after working.
