A cross-sectional study aimed to analyze temperament and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms in obese adult patients who were candidates for bariatric surgery. Researchers also investigated the prevalence and correlation with a positive test for ADHD. Data were collected from 260 bariatric surgery candidates referred for this surgery to the Obesity Center of the Endocrinology Unit in Pisa University Hospital between January 2006 and November 2016.
