Planet Coaster Hyperia Thorpe Park

Hyperia is a brand new Hyper Coaster opening at ‪@ThorpeParkOfficial‬ in Spring 2024, being built by German manufacturer ‪@MACKRidesVideo‬. Hyperia was first announced at a public consultation on 10th December 2021, under the codename Project Exodus . The few details that were revealed at first was that it was going to be the UK's tallest roller coaster, standing at 236ft tall. However, due to environmental issues with Runnymede Council, planning permission for Hyperia was not granted until September 2022. Ground work would occur over the next 12 months, before vertical construction commenced in October 2023.
