Homemade Dumplings • Dough: • • 250 ml warm water • 1 egg • 5-6 g salt • 550 g all-purpose flour • 1 tbsp olive oil • Stuffing: • • 500-550 g ground turkey or meat of your choice (I used half beef and half pork) • 2-3 cloves garlic • Onion • 8 g salt • Pepper • Instructions: • 1. Knead the dough (I knead it in a mixer for 5 minutes), cover, and let it rest for 30 minutes. • 2. Use a pasta machine or roll out the dough. • 3. Shape it into dumplings. • 4. Bring water to a boil, add some salt and a couple of bay leaves. Cook for 7-8 minutes. • 5. Serve with butter or sour cream. • 6. Alternatively, boil halfway, then fry and serve with the sauce of your choice, or with soy sauce. • The minced meat can be made from one type of meat, or a mix of two or even three varieties of meat or poultry.
