Classification : Putting living beings into different groups and sub- groups on the basis of their similarities and disimilarities is termed as Classification . Firstly Scientists classified organisms simply in two kingdoms , namely plant kingdom and Animal kingdom. Next Ernst Hackel classified living things into three different kingdoms such as Kingdom Plantae , Kingdom Animalia and Kingdom Protista. • After three kingdom Classification and the clear concept for kingdom Protista. Copeland (1959) came forward with a four kingdom system to classify the living beings.
