Ingredient Utensils ↓ • Guajillo Peppers/Chili, or in Thai, Prik Yuak Heang is the name of this marvelous big chilli that has a deep red hue and is not spicy. I could compare its spiciness to one normal large chilli (Cayenne) if 10 of these peppers were used. It's the secret ingredient to many Thai dishes that calls for Chilli to make the dishes bright red, yet the dish is not (as) spicy at the same time. I would recommend using this chilli peppers for spicy dishes that calls for chilli, if one spicy tolerant level is not very high. • This chilli is quite sweet when it is still fresh; however, it's quite difficult to find it in big cities so I always bring some dried ones back from Thailand when I travel for a visit. Since we are now home-bound, it was difficult to get my hands on these chillis and my stock was running out.
