None closes more quietly: Sensys has revolutionized the world of hinges. The integrated hidden soft-closing mechanism puts an end to banging doors. A gentle flick of the wrist is enough to let cabinet doors close gently, soundlessly and with a large self-closing range of approx 35°. • The design too sets new aesthetic standards. Furniture technology can be as sensuous as this. • Sensys features a unique, great security of its soft-closing function, even in extreme climatic situations. • The Sensys product family includes hinges for all standard mounting versions. Virtually any cabinet design can be realized with these hinges: • Wooden doors and aluminium framed doors in every common application: full overlay, half overlay or inset construction. • A range of angled hinges offers to design cabinets with 30°, 45° or 90° face angles. • Mounting plates and parallel adapters made in different distances allow to precisely set door overlays and reveals, even for less common applications. • Angle adapters are also available in 5°, 10°, 15° and 20° angles for combination with cross mounting plates. These can be used with straight or angled hinges to create very individual cabinet face angles in a 5° grid. • The assortment also contains hinges with different opening angles: 110° is the standard. There are also 165° wide angle hinges and such with a 95° opening angle, e.g. for doors that must not open too wide in order not to collide with a wall or other piece of furniture. In addition, the opening angle of some hinges can even be limited individually. • Mounting plates are also available in many different designs and assembly versions: linear mounting plates hide away below the hinge arm while cross mounting plates are quick and easy to mount e.g. in standard System 32 hole lines. • The various hinge cups meet specific requirements in the assembly process: doors can be fixed in a screw-on, press-in or fast-assembly process. • Of course, the 3-dimensional fine adjustment supports to always find the precise setting of the door, creating perfect reveals all around the doors. • Yet another specialty of the Sensys assortment is the thick door hinge. Because auf its unique kinematics, it allows to mount doors up to 32 mm in thickness with a reveal of only 3 mm. Thinner doors with 22 mm can even be mounted with a 0.7 mm hair reveal.
