How does a Magnetron Works

Hello Everyone Welcome To Engineer’s Academy • • In this video we will learn how a Magnetron Works in the Radar System Microwave Oven. • Magnetron works on the principle of LC oscillations and thermoinic emission. Into which the electrons are dispered by the cathode. Which is surrounded by the anode. The anode is having the slots as shown in the figure. The electrons are oscillated into the slot and it will move towards the anode. The electrons which is present at the anode will move towards the consecutive slot. And thus forms a loop. Spoke wheel pattern get created inside the Assembly and the electrons oscillates in the cavity. Due to the oscillations and more time spent by the electrons in a cavity it produces the radio waves. And this is how a magnetron works.
