Panasonic Lumix G9 Firmware Update Page: https://www.panasonic.com/global/cons... • For lens and other cameras go to this link: https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/... • On May 30, Panasonic released a firmware update for the Lumix G9, GH5 and GH5s. • It’s pretty common to have firmware updates on new cameras a few months after they are released. • Step 1: Check your current version of firmware in your Lumix camera. • Go the the Tools menu and then to Version Menu on page 3 • You can see that in my camera I’m currently using Firmware v 1.0 • Step 2: Go to the Panasonic.com website Firmware update page. • Step 3: Go to your camera model and download the firmware file to your computer. While you’re at it, check if any of your lenses have a firmware update too. • Step 4: Unzip the file. Copy the BIN firmware file to a memory card. Then insert the memory card into your camera. • Step 5: Hit the Playback button on your camera. The camera will ask if you want to “version up”. Hit yes and the process will automatically begin. I should take about a minute. The camera will restart when it’s finished. • And that’s it.
