🍂Welcome, fellow wayfarer! • How to make a watercolor vintage floral paper bookmark with beads - Tutorial Part 3. • You can find the 1st and 2nd parts of this tutorial (designing, drawing and painting the design) here: • 1) • Make a Vintage Botanical Bookmark~DIY... • 2) • How to make a vintage floral bookmark... • Today we are going to make beaded end for the watercolor bookmark featuring a vintage botanical illustration. First, we will remove the tape that was holding watercolor painting on a clipboard. Then, we will cut out the painting and attach a velvet ribbon to the bookmark using textile glue to prepare space for beading. After that, we will add final touches to it with a colored pencil. Afterwards, we will will use golden colored seed beads in size 8/0, beading thread and beading needles to created a fringe beaded end to decorate the bookmark. You will learn, modify and combine such beading techniques as right angle weaving techniques and flat peyote stitch. • Such beading pattern for a bookmark design can be use to make a gift for book collector, vintage art lover, for a bookworm, etc. Such bookmark will nicely decorate illuminated manuscripts, your favorite book or a religious book. • 📜List of materials used for the 3nd part of this art project (not sponsored): • ~ Colored pencil (Faber Castell Polychromos): Chromium Green Opaque 174; • ~ Two long thin beading needles (feel free to use whatever needles you have) • ~ Beading thread in golden color (you can opt for nylon thread, a light polyethylene fishing line or other thread you have.
