Simply the best method to wash a black car PROPERLY! If you are serious about maintaining your black paint and avoiding the dreaded swirl marks, then this is best technique to use. • As a long time owner of a black RX-8 I have found that combining a foam lance with a 2 bucket wash, ensures the best results with the least likelihood of creating any micro scratches in the paint. The end result is paint that is extremely glossy and mirror like. Also, keep in mind this is the original paint job on my RX-8, so whilst it is far from perfect, it comes up pretty well. • The key to this method is removing as much dirt as possible before you actually touch the car with a wash mitt. • Briefly the method is this. • 1. Foam cannon • 2. Power rinse • 3. Two bucket wash • 4. Dry with microfiber towels • 5. Wax every couple of months • I have seen some YouTube videos where the video creators don't rinse their car after the foam wash or don't bother with the 2 bucket wash. Trust me, if you want to avoid micro scratches on your paint then this is definitely the safest, most effective method. • You are going to need some gear to use this washing method.
