Depending on vender • • Color : Foliage Green – I saw a black version online but I couldn’t tell if it was legit issue or not. • Makers : This one made by Tru-Spec but there are other makers out there including Peckham. Rothco has a version of this but I have read that they are not authorized. Knock offs in other words. • From what I understand these are offered only to the army and haven’t been served to the Marines. • Primary Insulation Layer: Worn underneath shell layers or worn as an outer garment in cool conditions. • The GEN III High-Loft Fleece Jacket is the primary insulation layer for use in moderate to cold conditions. • Constructed with Polartec® Thermal Pro® material the insulation on the Level III Jacket creates air pockets that trap air and retain body heat providing outstanding warmth without weight. This is not an outer layer. Wind blows right through it. However when used as an under layer below a wind proof jacket • It is excellent. Where a cold wind is not blowing this is not an issue. This jacket is very light and easy to move around in.
