Then I disconnect the water supply line and the drainage hose. I pull out the dishwasher, unhook the electric and get to work re-wiring the electric behind the dishwasher. • You should not put the outlet in the dishwasher cabinet, but rather, in a cabinet or area next to the dishwasher so that you can avoid steam and moisture problems. I chose to put the outlet in the cabinet to the right of the dishwasher because most dishwashers have their power supply on the right. • I drilled a hole for the plug to pass through and I dripped another hole to run the electric. After running the electric into the cabinet you install the outlet and then secure the electrical cable.
