Then I disconnect the water supply line and the drainage hose. I pull out the dishwasher, unhook the electric and get to work re-wiring the electric behind the dishwasher. • You should not put the outlet in the dishwasher cabinet, but rather, in a cabinet or area next to the dishwasher so that you can avoid steam and moisture problems. I chose to put the outlet in the cabinet to the right of the dishwasher because most dishwashers have their power supply on the right. • I drilled a hole for the plug to pass through and I dripped another hole to run the electric. After running the electric into the cabinet you install the outlet and then secure the electrical cable. If you have the new dishwasher available you can use a generic dishwasher electric cord kit (Like this one: https://amzn.to/2WEkT74 ) and connect it to the power box of the new dishwasher. • Connect the supply line, the drainage line and the plug in the new dishwasher using your new outlet and you're set. • All the products I recommend: https://www.amazon.com/shop/tomshomei... • Twitter:   / homehobbyist   • Tom is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
