Making Pecan Pie with Karo Syrup • Pecan Pie • Momma used this recipe that she found on the Karo Syrup jar. She used the Light Karo Syrup. • 1 cup Light Karo Corn Syrup • 3 Eggs • 1 cup Sugar • 2 tablespoons Butter melted • 1 teaspoon Vanilla • 1 to 1 1/2 cups Pecan Halves • 1 unbaked Pie Shell • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. • 2. Prepare Pie Shell. • 3. In a mixing bowl, combine Corn Syrup, Eggs, Sugar, Butter and Vanilla. • 4. Stir in Pecans. Pour into Pie Shell. • 5. Bake 55 to 60 minutes. • 6. Cool for 2 hours before cutting. • 7. Store in refrigerator. • *This pie freezes well.
