https://www.chicagofitperformance.com/ • Gotta love these new T-Bell Straddle Lift! • ⠀⠀ • The straddle lift is a combo between a squat and a deadlift but the weight travels between your legs, which is more convenient and comfortable because the load is closer to your center of gravity, which makes it very safe lift for the back. • ⠀⠀ • A great thing about the straddle lift is when you are elevated on two boxes, like I’m doing here, you get the parallel thigh (even deeper) you do with the squat, but you also get the torso lean that you do with a deadlift. This stretches the glutes under load like nothing else. • ⠀⠀ • I’m using a 125 lbs here and although may not seem like a lot but 125 lbs of the T-Bell is a lot harder than 125 lbs deadlift. • ⠀⠀ • Also holding a dumbbell or kettlebell can get sketchy when you are going up in weight.
