The baby copperhead snake strike is incredibly fast.. While out herping and snake hunting on a sandy road, I saw a beautiful copperhead baby snake. When I set up my cameras, it start striking at me! There were at least twelve of the snake strikes. Really, how deadly is the baby copperhead? We show you how a viper strikes! Like the flying snakes, this copperhead left the ground on some of the strikes. These poisonous snake strikes are defensive and do not indicate an aggressive snake. The Copperhead and the cottonmouth water moccasin are related as they are both venomous and in the genus Agkistrodon.
