Credits to the original performer and composer:    • Sleep Away   (Bob Acri, and his song, Sleep Away). • • Awhile ago, out of my appreciation for the song, I'd been working on compiling my own music sheet for the song; a sheet specifically needed for websites which utilize a common system; websites, such as the following: • http://www.virtualpiano.net/ • https://recursivearts.com/virtual-piano/ • https://www.pianorhythm.me/lobby • and even ports , if you will, or recreations of the software that the aforementioned, and certainly (possibly) other websites, host; ports hosted and accessible in places, such as the games Garry's Mod and Roblox (usually, easiest-found by searching for a game/asset, therein, called piano or virtual piano ). • For those interested, here's a link to a copy of the song's sheet music, [specifically for the virtual piano style of playing on a computer keyboard], including tips for beginners wanting to try it, themselves: • https://pastebin.com/bUmHTep0 • • Personally, my adventure in exploring this virtual piano phenomenon, and enjoying the chance to explore and engage in the world of musical performance, (albeit, with the lacking of ownership of an instrument, or possession of musical education)... that all began, back in the early 2010's, for me. • It was there, on that first-mentioned website, that I was playing and recording this very song; ever since, it'd not been complete, but feedback on how it's come together and sounds, as of yet, has, and will always be, deeply appreciated! • • For your interest, here's a link to other music sheets provided by the website: https://virtualpiano.net/music-sheets/ • You can also try: • https://lmgtfy.app/?q=Virtual+Piano+M... • (That's a link to Let Me Google That For You , intended to give you an idea of what you could search, in order to find music sheets in this style, which have been profusely shared on Trello; likewise, you could replace virtual piano in the search terms, with piano rhythm , or with QWERTY piano , Roblox [Virtual] Piano and elsewise; furthermore, if you wanted to find something specific, you could add terms to the search, such as the name of a composer, of a song, a performing artist, or the source of where a song came from (for example, Mortal Kombat Theme ). • • Also, if you find a MIDI (.mid) file version of a song, which you want a music sheet for, this is the tool I've used to convert MIDi files into these sorts of music sheets, as have many other people: • https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1ammnqqqh8... • Once the application's been downloaded and set up, to use it, you'd click File in the upper-left side of the application, Open MIDI , and select a MIDI file wherever it's downloaded onto your computer, and Open it. By default, it'll show you keys for every event (MIDI instrument) assigned notes/parts of the song, and you can deselect any of the instruments in this process/play back and hear how it sounds retrospectively, which is useful if they contain parts of the song that make it too long/complicated. • The resulting sheet uses colors to show timings between notes/chords, and is how I got the sheet for this song! • As for finding those MIDI files, it'd just take Googling something like Bob Acri - Sleep Away MIDI file , or what have you. • (That application requires Java software to use, and I tried to find the version I downloaded before; I think I found it in some forums regarding Garry's Mod versions of Virtual Piano. If you want to try and find it, yourself, I'd recommend looking up MIDI piano sheet creator [or converter] for virtual piano.) • • Here's an excellent link, which provides information on how to play such sheets as those aforementioned, or at least the basics needed: • https://virtualpiano.net/virtual-musi... • And, naturally, I can't forget to say to you, thank you for watching!!! • • For those interested in knowing a bit more, I'll attach a pastebin link, below, which shares a bit more information about virtual piano, and what you can do with it/what you might need to learn: • https://pastebin.com/VPUv170e • • I wish viewers who try out Virtual Piano, the best of luck!
