Here, i have described how to configure Qnap NFS4 Multipathing with VMware. This is a step by step guideline how to configure NFS4 MPIO. First, I have configured TES-1885U Enterprise nas, I have created the NFS share directory, assigned permission and dedicated 2 10Gig Lan for the NFS Traffic. And after that, created 2 VMkernel interface at ESXi, assigned IP from different subnet to those vmk interfaces. both VMkernel interfaces are attached to the separate 10Gig Interfaces. ESXi can connect to qnap with each ip separately.
