Oven Barbecue Chicken Recipe I Heart Recipe

Hi friends! I’ve put together a little meal that’s perfect for a busy weeknight. At the center is my super easy Oven Barbecue Chicken. Serve this alongside potato salad, collard greens and macaroni and cheese for a classic soul food meal your family is sure to love. Mm! This is just so delicious, y’all! Let’s get started. • You don’t need a lot of ingredients for this chicken recipe, and I use my favorite store-bought barbecue sauce when I’m pushing for time. Wash and dry the chicken, and place it in a roaster. Sprinkle the chicken with black pepper, seasoning salt and garlic powder. Cover and bake for about 35 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven, and smother it with barbecue sauce. Cover the chicken, and return it to the oven for an additional 20 minutes. Oh my goodness, y’all!
