Kemp test, or extension quadrant or facet loading test, is used to evaluate for Facet Joint Pain, spinal stenosis, lumbar strain and Radicular Back Pain among others. The examiner places one hand on the patient's spine, the other on the contralateral shoulder. The patient is brought back into lateral flexion and extension. A positive test is pain on the same side suggesting facet etiology, radiation suggesting nerve root etiology and contralateral side suggesting lumbar strain. • Kemp Test • https://wikism.org/Kemp_Test • SportsMedReview: Back Pain • https://www.sportsmedreview.com/by-jo... • Wiki Sports Medicine: Back Pain • https://wikism.org/Back_Pain_Main • ----- • Our Sites • Sports Med Review: https://www.sportsmedreview.com/ • Wiki Sports Medicine: https://wikism.org/Main_Page • Follow Us • Twitter/X: / sportsmedreview • Linkedin: / sports-medicine-review • Facebook: / sportsmedicinereview • Instagram: / sportsmedreview • Threads: https://www.threads.net/@sportsmedreview • RSS Feed: https://www.sportsmedreview.com/blog/... • Amazon Store: https://amzn.to/3SoR7jJ
