A week before the start of the major renovation, there was still a lot going on on the Riedbahn. So, I visited the stations Frankfurt-Stadion, Mörfelden-Walldorf, Riedstadt-Goddelau, Biblis (see separate video), and Lampertheim. • In the beginning, the traffic was quite mixed: regional, long-distance, and freight traffic. Towards the end of the day, however, freight trains were relatively sparse, while ICEs (and one ECE) were running almost back-to-back. • Even though the major renovation hadn't started yet, work was already in full swing. After all, they are determined to meet the deadline – everything should be finished by the timetable change in December. • At this day I was at the train station in Biblis, too, including an railway crossing.
