1 year follow up video now available! • • Review of the new Coated Elixir Stain... • Jay Stevens ,bassist for David Gogo , Godin Guitar endorser and owner of the I Wanna Rock School of Music reviews the new Elixir Stainless steel bass strings. • I was given a set of the new formula Elixir Stainless Steel Coated bass strings to test out, probably because when they asked I told them I hated Stainless Steel strings, and also that I had in the past tried Elixirs but wasn't happy with how they shed their coating and get all hairy looking. • I put a set on my #1 bass, my Godin Shifter 4 and gave them a good 6 months torture test of almost daily use.
