You can see here that the heron parent is regurgitating half-digested fishes for his/her three chicks. Two of them look just a few days old, and the smallest one is probably less than one day old. They eat as much as they can, then suddenly sleep fall upon them. • 孵化後まだ1週間経たないヒナたちです。3羽のうち一番小さなヒナは生まれて1日と経ってないかもしれません。それでも大きな兄弟と一緒になって餌を食べています。親が吐き戻した餌は最初はわりあい原形を留めていますが、後から吐き戻されたものはかなり消化されていますね。ひとしきり食べ終えたヒナたちはすみやかに眠りに就きます。食べることと寝ることの間に何のアクションもありません。食べ残された餌は親鳥がひとつひとつ丁寧に拾っていきます。 • 『アオサギを議論するページ』http://www.grey-heron.net/
