He spent about 5 years in the ship honing his culinary skills. Later in his life, he joined The Ritz Carlton at Cayman Islands in the USA and shared the table with top chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Antony Bourdain and Eric Rippert for a period of five years years. This brief period helped him to upgrade his culinary skills further. • • After these years, Suresh Chinnaswamy brought immense culinary arts expertise and experience to his motherland to turn his dreams into reality. He set up Samy’s Dosakall, a home-style heritage cuisine inspired from his parents’ traditional cooking business of making dosa in a wrought iron pan. Today, it is one of the popular food chains in Chennai, Tanjore and USA. Suresh Chinnaswamy continued his voyage with culinary experiments by venturing out Samy Vilas, Dhum Biriyani, Sigdee, Vegiee, Rotiwrap, Scoops Straws spread across Perambur. • • As a Social Activist, this famous Indian Chef has established Samy’s Institute of Catering Technology with 250 students, providing free education to the physically challenged and underprivileged students.
