I wanted to show some of the exercises that I do to keep myself in shape to give massages. Giving massages is not as easy as people think. You must build your strength slowly steadily. Massage therapist have a career span of about 6-7 years if they don’t take care of themselves. It is difficult on our bodies so it’s important to do cardio strength training. Do what works for you just do something! You can work out at home or at the gym. You can start slow with 2 sets of 10 increase to 3 of 15. It is best to do more reps than more weight (prevents injuries). Please ask your doctor if you are cleared to exercise do weight training.
