The 1991 sitcom that launched the acting careers of Tim Allen and Pamela Anderson, 'Home Improvement' ran for an impressive eight years on ABC. It was in the top ten every one of those years, and only ended its run because Allen and Patricia Richardson turned down a combined total of $75 million to do one more season. Seven Emmy noms, no wins; one Golden Globe went to Allen. On the other hand., composer Dan Foliart won the ASCAP award every year. His theme didn't change much from season to season, though he made tweaks to the arrangement here and there. The show did not use end credits music.
