Pellets are only to be used as occasional snacks or during the day in case they get hungry. Other than that a pelleted diet is not a complete diet. • If you need a good diet, here are some recommended: • TPG - The Pet Glider (also known as the Priscilla Price diet) • BML - Bourbon's Modified Leadbeaters • HPW - High Protein Wombaroo • AWD - Australian Wombaroo Diet • LGRS - Lucky Glider Rescue Sanctuary Suggie Soup • VGV - Val's Green Variety • and a couple more • I personally feed the SGS 2 as I've had the best experience with it. It's a diet mostly used in Europe. • Preparing their food takes up to 2 hours, I make 4-5 different batches and freeze it in cubes and it lasts me for around 6-8 weeks for 4 sugar gliders. • Sugar gliders live up to 15 years so you need to make sure they are the right pet for you before you purchase. • If you decide to purchase, please purchase from a reputable breeder and stay away from pet stores that sell them.
