Internal vs External Rotation EXPLAINED

Internal and External Rotation are lifting terms that you need to know before you go out and venture the land that is YouTube Fitness. Let's break it down. • The BREAKDOWN: • External Rotation: rotation away from the center of the body. An example of this is bringing your elbow away from you to the side. • Internal Rotation: rotation towards the center of the body. An example of this is bringing your elbow towards your from the side. • We often see internal and external rotation in the elbows. Another place that we can see it is in the hip.
