A favorite Carnival / Fair classic...FUNNEL CAKE, also known as Dribble Cake or Funny Cake!! Made by pouring thin batter, through a funnel, while creating circular patterns into hot cooking oil and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden. Sprinkle with Powdered Sugar and ENJOY!! SPECTACULAR!! Recipe below by clicking on SHOW MORE... • FUNNEL CAKE • Makes 9 (8 ) Cakes • 2 cups milk • 3 eggs • 3 cups all-purpose flour • 1/4 cup granulated sugar • 2 teaspoons baking powder • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 3-4 cups vegetable oil • 1 cup powder sugar • 1 funnel with a dime size tip...about 7/16 • 1. In a medium mixing bowl add flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk until dry ingredients are well blended. Add milk and eggs. Whisk until smooth. • 2. Add oil into a 12 heavy bottom skillet, pan or Dutch oven, over medium-heat, until thermometer reaches 350 degrees F. • 3. Use your index finger to cover the tip of the funnel. Add 1/2 cup of batter into funnel. Slowly slide index finger, half way off funnel tip, while adding batter into hot oil. Watch video for demonstration. • 4. Fry for 1 minute. Flip Funnel Cake and cook an additional 30 to 60 seconds until Funnel Cake is golden in color. Remove funnel cake to cookie tray lined with paper towels. • 6.
