The Norco Optic is the model with the shortest travel in our 2024 trail bike comparison test. The exciting bike from Canada offers a crisp 125 mm travel at the rear - 140 mm at the front. Based on these key data, you could almost put the Optic in the trendy down country drawer. The high pivot rear triangle including chain deflection should make the short-travel device a real trail machine, especially since the geometry is very Canadian in the best Norco Optic style. • When it comes to frame material and wheel size, you're spoiled for choice. However, Norco only offers the Optic in Germany as a carbon frame set at a hefty price of €4,199. Fans of aluminum frames or complete bikes are left disappointed. With a weight of around 15 kilos, the Optic is also in the lower middle of our test field.
