Kathi is folk dance of Nimar region in Madhya Pradesh. In this dance form, ‘Kathi’ is decorated with bamboo its clothes are adorned with peacock feathers. The members of dance group wear bright colored costumes. One of them called Rajulya picks up a decorated saddle and walks with the dancer's team. The main musical instrument for music is Damru which is played as ‘Dhak’.
