In the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean lie many mysteries of ocean life and how it began. Seven miles down below the surface, bathed internal darkness with temperatures just above freezing, a specially adapted ecosystem somehow thrives, seemingly against the odds. Little is known about life here, and very few people have been able to explore. This video will explore the grandeur of the bottom of our oceans, what geophysical events took place to create it, which creatures call it home, those who have dared to dive here and what they found along their journey.
