This is an overview of a PRAM battery modification I performed on my Macintosh SE. I decided to replace the soldered on 1/2 AA 3V battery with a CR2032 holder for easy, cheap battery replacement, and because the CR2032 battery will be more reliable over time, as they are not prone to leakage.
