KC10 Extender Air Refueling Mission with E3 A10 Mirage F1 FA18

A U.S. Air Force aircrew from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron prepares and flies a KC-10 Extender on a mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom at an undisclosed location in southwest Asia. The mission included fueling an E-3 Sentry, A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, a French Air Force Mirage F1, and U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets. The capacity of the KC-10's six fuel tanks carry more than 356,000 pounds of fuel, which is nearly twice as much as the KC-135 Stratotanker. Video by Tech. Sgt.
