The 35th annual Turanganui Schools Maori Cultural Festival came to an awe-inspiring end yesterday with a mass haka, dedicated by Papa Pura to Nanny Pani Pewhairangi. The sound of more than 700 primary and intermediate students lifted the roof at the Farmers Air Showgrounds Park and Events Centre, following a tradition set in 2016.
