Hey everyone! Thank you for checking out the video! I finally had time this morning to install the pts and do some testing. I quickly did a few MagPlar parses and got lucky with some decent crits on just my second parse lol. Magplar feels stronger then ever with the velothi change in update 39, allowing it to buff more types of damage. If there are any changes to plar later in the pts, I will try and return to do another video. My work ends for the season in just 2 weeks meaning I will have a lot more time to farm out some good parses and test many more classes. • Side note: damn you dailo for changing your discord name to youtuber ryeso 🤣 • I tested a variety of setups such as: masters bow back bar, nirn/rele, aegis caller/rele, and zaan over velothi. I only did about 3-5 parses with each setup and had the best results with siroria. The weapon and spell damage buff is huge for beam in execute. Good news for pillar of nirn users is that a pillar/rele setup performs similarly. A friend of mine @goavs34 was able to get close results with this setup. • And here is a screenshot of my parse as well as the setup used in the video: • https://media.discordapp.net/attachme... • https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachment... • Race: High Elf • Mundus: Thief • Potions: Heroism/Essence of Spell Power • Food: Firsthold Fruit and Cheese Plate (green max mag) • Sustain is the most challenging part about parsing on templars. Max mag food is extremely tough to sustain. It is doable by precasting focus/forward momentum and timing your potion/synergy carefully. If you cannot sustain it, I recommend using parse food instead. I had to drop ritual as soon as I got to execute because otherwise I would have completely bottomed out. As always, on a templar I swap potions heading into execute. I start with heroism pots and swap to spell power to avoid having to keep up degen/vamp bane throughout the parse. I found the easiest way to do this is to map spell power pots to the top of the potion wheel and quickly flick your mouse up during a sweeps cast. • Not much has changed in terms of the rotation from the previous patch. Power of the light is recast every 6 seconds. Make sure to allow for the full duration of the skill. *Do not recast early*. Degen/vamp bane need to be kept up until the potion swap to maintain buffs. If you would rather not bother with potion swapping, keep up both skills throughout. Keep Solar barrage up as long as possible. The 5% increased damage to beam in execute is big DPS. Once you reach execute, cast ritual one last time around the 25-30% mark (or don't recast if you cannot sustain it). Dont refresh carve under 10-12% and try to keep stampede/trap up the whole time...but dont do anything but beam under 8% • When using rele on a templar, it is extremely important to slow your weaves down. This allows the possibility of rele to double tick and hit the target twice over the course of a single second. The additional damage from extra rele ticks will outshine the extra 2-3 spammable casts you get before reaching execute. • Thank you guys again for watching!
