How to tell if someone is lying? Can the eyes tell you if someone is lying or telling the truth? What does it mean if someone's eyes move up and to the right or down and to the left? • This video shows how a person's eye movements may reveal whether they are telling the truth or being deceptive. When you take a deposition, watch the witnesses eye movements. Research suggests that looking up and to their right (your left) may indicate they are creating an image rather than pulling on an actual memory. Looking to their right (your left) may indicate they are creating what they heard rather than drawing on a filed memory. Looking to their left (your right) suggests a greater likelihood of truthfulness. • Warning: eye movements are by no means 100% accurate. Eye movements and body language in general are just pieces of information that you must fit into the overall puzzle of person's story or witness' testimony. • Here's a link to a cool Eye Movement Chart: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i url=h... • My name is Brendan Lupetin.
