Last July Sabrina embarked on a very unusual adventure. She took her shoes off for a year. She wanted to find out what would happen: To her feet, to her wellbeing, to her surroundings. In the last twenty-five years she has studied and written about the mind-body-connection and was often barefoot herself: At home, on vacation, on the beach, on a nice piece of grass. The usual. But now she went everywhere without shoes: City pavements, planes, trains, restaurants, first-class-hotels, on stage when she gave talks, to family gatherings. Her 87year old mother is still waiting for the famous bladder infection, or at least a cold, one is rumored to get by being barefoot. She will be speaking last on Monday on the DLD stage. And that is a very appropriate position: Because our feet are often the last thing we think off... • DLD (Digital-Life-Design) is a global network on innovation, digitization, science and culture which connects business, creative and social leaders, opinion-formers and influencers for crossover conversation and inspiration. • Visit our Website: http://www.dld-conference.com/ • Follow us on Twitter: / dldconference • Check our Facebook: / dldconference
