Students at Alta Loma Christian School take the NWEA MAP Growth test every spring as one of several methods to evaluate students' growth in academic skills and cognitive abilities. This video attempts to simplify test results for parents by briefly explaining the data that appears on a standard NWEA MAP Growth student progress report. • For more information, please visit: • NWEA parent toolkit: https://www.nwea.org/parent-toolkit/ • The RIT Scale and other commonly used MAP terms: https://www.nwea.org/blog/2016/six-co... • NWEA normative reference data (RIT): https://www.nwea.org/content/uploads/... • *Note: although this video describes the District Grade Level RIT as the median RIT of the school, it technically takes into consideration all scores within the school's NWEA-reported district. Since ALCS is a private school, it is listed in NWEA's database as the only school in its district.
