Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the notification bell if you haven’t already done so. • • Dry rub ingredients: • 2 tbs smoked paprika • 2 tbs monk fruit sweetener • 2 tbs Himalayan salt • 2 tbs garlic powder • 1 tbs black pepper • 1 tbs onion powder • 1 tsp cumin • 1 tsp chilli powder • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper • • First you’ll want to coat your brisket with the rub. Remember to placed your brisket fat side up in your roasting pan. Add a little bit of water and liquid smoke to your roasting pan. Cover your pan with foil and a lid if you have it. Once it’s ready place in the oven at 250°F. Cooking time varies on the size of your brisket. It is 1.5 hours for every pound of brisket. Mine was 2 pounds so I did three hours. Pull from the oven and allow 20 to 30 minutes of cooling time before slicing your brisket.
