The International Red Cross helps people in war zones and in times of crisis. This behind the scenes documentary looks at one such person, who makes a sacrifice every day to help others. • Farhana Javid is a 38-year-old psychologist from Kashmir working in Ukraine. With a team of Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers, she helps people living near the front line cope with their distress and suffering. • In places affected by conflict, one in five people live with some form of mental health condition. That's three times more than the general population worldwide. • The International Committee of the Red Cross provides psychosocial support, psychological and specialised mental health support to people living in war zones and violent places. • Subscribe to our channel for more videos: • https://goo.gl/L9z6FW • • The ICRC is on the ground in over 90 countries, providing humanitarian aid to victims of conflict and violence.
