The classic Chuck Taylors are legendary but there were a lot of cost saving measures taken in the 80’s and 90’s when Converse wasn’t as popular as when they pretty much owned the market. But fear not! 10 years after they were bought by Nike they faithfully reproduced chucks how they were made in the 70’s and WOWIE KAPOWIIE are they better! Also these are not high tops and I have a troubled past with high tops but...maybe one day I’ll get a pair.
