West Point Organist Craig Williams plays Johann Pachelbel's fugal setting of the Advent hymn, Nun komm der Heiden Heiland, translated Savior of the Nations, Come. Like many of his chorale preludes, Pachelbel begins with a fugue based on the opening phrase of the hymn, in manuals alone; and when the pedal enters with the hymn melody, the manual parts accompany the bass melody with sweeping scales and arpeggios.
