Frontier Developments’ second stab at an officially licenced Formula 1 management game is with us, promising more in-depth features, added realism and a couple of very interesting new game modes... • F1 Manager 2023 is set to release on the 31st of July (or the 27th if you opt for the Deluxe Edition of the game), offering the developer a chance to refine the F1 Team Principal simulator’s formula, which began with the solid, if unspectacular, F1 Manager 2022. • You can now take control of your pitcrew’s training regime, tweaking their practise sessions to ensure you get out of pitlane ahead of the opposition, with particular attention required on maintaining the confidence of your drivers through tyre management and race preparation. • The headline feature is undoubtedly Race Replay (and Exclusive Scenarios, for Deluxe Edition owners), offering players bite-size chunks of F1 Manager action to help right the “wrongs” of the 2023 season. • Is F1 Manager 2023 enough of an improvement over ‘22 to justify another purchase, though?
