Watching my team execute our baseline inbound play to go ahead with 2.3 seconds remaining in the Consolation Championship game! • Our opponents were able to see our initial play set up and called a time out to try and strategize against it. We didn't change the play and came out and ran the same play we intended to. Our decoy coming across the key drew much of the defenses attention. Our intended shooter broke off of the double screen a little early but the defense had already committed to our decoy and he was left wide open for the shot! • This play really takes advantage of (especially in such a critical moment in the game) of the defense playing especially tight coverage and not communicating clearly. I would have coached my team in the opposite position to switch on all screens.
