OpenFOAM blockMesh and SnappyHexMesh using geometry from FreeCAD FIlling water tank

Hello everyone, • Welcome back! • In this tutorial, I explained how to create a mesh for any complicated geometry with the help of blockMesh and snappyHexMesh utility in OpenFOAM. For creating the geometry, I used a free source software called FreeCAD. You need to save all the patches (faces) and the entire geometry after you create your geometry using FreeCAD. Run surfaceFeatureExtract only for face .stl files and extract those features for snappyHexMeshing. • This tutorial gives you a brief insight into creating mesh for any geometries using geometries created using FreeCAD.
