The game comes with a playing arena, 4 colored ripcords, and 4 colored tops. This game is simple to learn and you will be playing within minutes of opening the box - I always like that! Players insert their rip cord and top, into their corner of the arena - make sure to match colors, and then on the count of 3, start battling! Last top standing wins the round, and the first player to earn 10 points, wins. Keep score right on your corner of the arena. There seems to be no strategy or skill involved, but yet Battling Tops is a lot of fun. Kids will love watching the tops spin and smash into each other.
