Including soundbites: • • I think the most important things about the extras on the DVD is the Harry Potter fans are so obsessive about things that were cut from the book, that they want a longer film. People are always saying 'God the the film was two and half hours long', but the Potter fans want it to be four hours long. With this DVD they get 20 plus extra minutes of the book. Things that we shot that we couldn't actually get in to the release. I think that is the thing that most people will be looking forward to. The fact that they can see these scenes that they love from the book translated on to film with a new score from John Williams and digitally re mastered scenes. So it's going to be great. • • I knew I needed to..that I couldn't give the actors or the kids as much intensity and passion as I had given them on the first movie. And I needed to re-charge my batteries so I could do whatever I direct next. I needed to have my energy back. But I've got it back now , I am ready to go back so... • • I had done Harry Potter as best as I could. I couldn't do a third film.
