Recently a serious and life threatening event happened to our own co-host, Lyell, while on a liveaboard trip in the Pacific, he suffered a heart attack even with no coronary artery blockages. Today, you will meet a man who had a catastrophic injury that occurred during a normal routine day of diving and changed his life forever! Dr. Eric Wagner is a retired dentist, who learned to dive in the army, while stationed in Puerto Rico in the mid 1980's. He had been a recreational diver for over 20 years when one day on a dive trip in Belize, he completed three perfectly executed dives, but nevertheless became a victim of a severe decompression injury!
