Fu 麩 is very unique Japanese traditional food made from wheat gluten. It is plant based nourishing protein and can be zero fat meat substitute. Most popular way is to put in miso soup or sukiyaki. In this video, I am introducing 3 fun and yummy dishes. • Tamago toji @03:44 • Hanagasa zukuri @06:51 • Doughnuts @09:28 • 🇯🇵Tamago toji • 1 Kurumafu • 1/2 onion, peeled and sliced • Some green onion, sliced • 1 egg • 1 cup Dashi (1 cup water and 1 tsp Dashi powder) • 2 tbsp soysauce • 2 tbsp mirin • 1 tbsp sugar • 🇯🇵Hanagasa zukuri • 2 Kuruma Fu • 1/2 cup each of mined • carrots • celery • onion • green onion • 1 cup Dashi • 2 tbsp Soy sauce • 2 tbsp mirin • 2 tsp cornstarch (2 tsp water) • • 🇯🇵Doughnut • 1 Kuruma Fu • 1 egg • 1/4 cup milk • 1 tbsp maple syrup • 2 tbsp Kinako (soy powder flour) • 2 tbsp sugar
